Good Stuff to Know

From September through May (the first Sunday after Labor Day weekend through the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend) worship begins at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.  During the summer (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend), we worship at 8:30 AM 10:00 AM.

We have no dress code. Whether you are dressed formally or informally, God welcomes you, and so do we.

Our worship includes music from a variety of traditions and countries. A copy of our Hymnal Glory to God can be found in the pocket in front of your pew.
Please feel free to join in or listen in—whatever makes you comfortable. If you’d like to sing in the choir, you’re welcome to! Contact Dawn Weborg, our Music Director and Organist or our Sanctuary Bells Director, Ron May.

Children are part of our worshipping community. They are encouraged to make a joyful noise to God as they learn the songs of our faith and how to pray. The “Gospel for Young People” is a presentation of the day’s message on their level. The worship bags provide activities for them to further learn about God’s Word as the Word is shared with those who are older.

For children in kindergarten and younger, childcare is available after the talk with the children. From First Grade on there is much for them to learn in worship such as the celebration of our sacraments and living our faith in the world. We consider cooing and the sometimes fussy babies a joyful noise in our community of faith.

A hearing enhancement system is available for those who have a need.  An usher will be happy to provide you with a receiver this morning.  Large print bulletins are also available.

During the months when we worship at 11:00 AM (see “worship” above), we hold classes for adults and children of all ages beginning at 9:45 AM.

Parking is available in around the building with spaces for Handicapped Parking in the North parking lot as well as the East lot.  There are wheelchair ramps available on both sides of the building as well. Please save the handicapped spaces for those who need them.  Wheelchairs, walkers and crutches are available to use during services.  Just ask an usher or greeter.

The office is located in the Administrative Wing.  Normally, the North doors are kept locked during the week.  Ring the bell and someone will let you in.  The door to Fellowship Hall on the East entrance is usually open but if locked, there is a buzzer system to allow entry. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
