Christian Education at Wayside

Christian Education at Wayside offers a wide variety of opportunities to nurture personal faith for every member of the family. That is not to say that faith is only private or individualistic for we believe that faith grows in community and if it is to mature must include group experiences. Remember that Jesus said he would be wherever two or three (or more) are gathered.

Our Session has initiated a program called “Worship Plus Two” in an effort to encourage our members and guests to thoughtfully and meaningfully grow in their life in Christ. This site is set up as a check list to inform you of our offerings of those experiences and opportunities in Christian Education that will round out your faith growth and that of your family members.

            There are four annual intergenerationals throughout the year for all ages.

            Sundays:

            __ Adult Bible Study is an in-depth study and discussion of our sacred book

            __ Embracing an Adult Faith is a discussion oriented class.

__ Issues of Faith Class is a speaker series

            __ The Bible and More is a biblical and contemporary issues based class

           

Mondays:

            ___ MEDS, our Monday Evening Discussions class, offers a forum for discussing

            books of faith.
